How Ultra POS handles information when you visit our website, use a restaurant’s ordering page or work in the staff app.

Last updated:

1. Who we are

Ultra POS is a restaurant point-of-sale software service provided by M-Webmagiks Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us” or “our”). This policy covers information handled through our website, staff app and customer takeaway ordering pages.

The restaurant or business using Ultra POS is the merchant. The merchant manages its menu, staff, orders and customer service. We provide the software and process restaurant order information to support the merchant’s operations. All customer payments for restaurant orders are collected by the merchant. Ultra POS does not collect or hold that money.

2. Information we handle

  • Staff accounts: name, email address, verified Google account identifier, assigned restaurant roles and access permissions, and sign-in history, including timestamps and IP addresses.
  • Customer orders: pickup name, selected items, quantities, preparation instructions, order notes, prices, taxes and order or pickup status. Browser ownership identifiers let you retrieve your own receipt without a staff account.
  • Merchant records: business and location details, menus, tables, checks, discounts, payment amounts and methods, payment references entered by staff, and records of business changes.
  • Technical and support information: request IP addresses, browser and request details, error diagnostics, and information you provide when contacting support.

The current service records payments received by the merchant; it does not charge cards or initiate UPI transfers. We do not ask for card numbers, CVV codes, bank passwords or UPI PINs. Please do not enter these or unnecessary personal information in order notes, preparation instructions or support messages.

3. How we use information

We use information to verify staff identity, enforce restaurant access permissions, submit and track orders, help merchants prepare food and arrange pickup, generate checks and kitchen tickets, and maintain payment and business history. Technical information helps us investigate errors, protect the service and keep it reliable. Support information helps us respond to your request.

4. Cookies and browser storage

Essential session cookies support staff sign-in, protect requests and link a customer’s order receipt to the browser that placed it. Customer ordering also uses browser session storage to retain the basket, pickup name, notes, pending submission and receipt during the browsing session.

You can manage cookies and storage in your browser. Blocking or clearing them may sign you out or prevent you from recovering an order or receipt. If an order’s outcome is uncertain, contact the merchant before submitting it again.

5. Sharing and service providers

Order and business information is available to the merchant’s authorized staff according to their roles and permitted locations. Our general public marketing pages do not display private merchant or staff records.

We use providers that support the service, including Google for staff authentication, Sentry for error monitoring, and hosting and database infrastructure providers. These providers may process relevant account or technical information to perform their services. Google sign-in is also subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.

Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or to investigate misuse and protect the rights and security of the service and its users.

6. Security and retention

The service uses access controls, scoped staff permissions and safeguards for sessions and requests. No storage or transmission system can guarantee absolute security.

Restaurant orders, checks, payment records and audit history are preserved for business continuity and accountability. Archiving a record does not erase its history. Retention depends on the information, the merchant’s business needs and applicable legal obligations; closing an account does not automatically delete transaction history.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

Contact the merchant for questions or corrections relating to your restaurant order. Staff can ask their restaurant administrator to update account details or revoke restaurant access. Signing out ends use of the current staff session; browser storage controls are described above.

For platform privacy questions or requests to access, correct or erase personal information, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or raise a privacy concern, email smundra1@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the merchant. Requests are handled according to applicable law and the records we are required or entitled to retain. Withdrawing information needed for a feature may prevent its continued use.

8. Shared test drive

The test drive uses a verified Google identity and a shared sample restaurant. Sample activity persists between visitors and may be visible to other participants. Please use fictional order details and do not enter private customer information.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. The latest version will appear on this page with its last-updated date.

For privacy questions, contact M-Webmagiks Pvt Ltd at smundra1@gmail.com. For restaurant payments, cancellations and refunds, see our Refund Policy and contact the merchant directly.
